Developing export markets, ensuring quality and increasing grower profitability are front of mind for the new chairman of the Australian Mango Industry Association (AMIA).







Greg McMahon, co-owner of Seven Fields in Katherine, has taken on the AMIA role, replacing Gavin Scurr who's been in the top job for the past four years.

In his first interview as chairman, Mr McMahon said AMIA had a number of goals focussed on improving grower returns.

Una breve reseña publicada en veonoticia.com sobre el libro escrito por los periodistas, Andrés Danza y Ernesto Tulbovitz, titulado con el singular nombre de “Una oveja negra al poder” nos revela algunos pensamientos del expresidente Pepe Mujica que a muchos sorprenderán.



Los autores de este libro llevan décadas escribiendo sobre el líder de la izquierda uruguaya y mencionan aquí el desencanto del expresidente con el socialismo cubano y venezolano.




La misma fuente arriba citada nos dice que “En el libro, los periodistas presentan detalles, a veces muy íntimos, de la relación entre Mujica y otros líderes regionales. Entre ellos, el presidente colombiano, Juan Manuel Santos; el mandatario de Venezuela, Hugo Chávez; el expresidente de Brasil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, la mandataria de Argentina, Cristina Fernández, y los hermanos Castro, en Cuba”.
